Welcome to Hypertext Functions ("HTFN"), a function-as-a-service (FaaS) platform that allows users to deploy, run and manage JavaScript functions in the cloud. By using HTFN, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the service.
By accessing or using HTFN, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms") and our Privacy Policy. These Terms apply to all users, including free and paid tier users.
HTFN allows users to upload, manage, and execute JavaScript functions. The platform offers a free tier and paid plans* with varying usage limits and service levels.
* Paid plans are not currently offered, but may be available in the future.
HTFN is currently offered as a alpha service. This means the platform is under active development and may undergo frequent updates, which could affect functionality, availability, security and reliability. HTFN may experience bugs, temporary outages, and data loss without prior notice. Users of HTFN, whether on a free or paid tier, acknowledge and accept these risks and agree that HTFN is not liable for any data loss, compromised data, service disruption, or other issues arising from the platform’s alpha status.
You retain ownership of any intellectual property rights you hold in the content you upload to HTFN. However, by uploading content to HTFN, you grant HTFN a worldwide, royalty-free license to use, host, store, reproduce, and modify your content for the purposes of providing, promoting, and improving the service.
HTFN is provided "as-is" without any warranties, express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. HTFN does not guarantee that the service will be error-free, secure, or available at all times.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, HTFN and its owners, employees, or agents shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of or inability to use the service. This includes damages for lost profits, data loss, or any other damages resulting from your use of HTFN.
Hypertext functions have no security built in, and they are completely open (anyone can access them). If an HTFN user wishes to implement access controls, HTTP authorization or HTTP authentication then these must be written/provided by the user of HTFN and deployed with their functions.
HTFN reserves the right to suspend or terminate your access to the service, at our sole discretion, if you violate these Terms or engage in any activity deemed harmful to HTFN or other users.
HTFN reserves the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify users of significant changes by posting a notice on our website or sending an email to registered users. Continued use of the service after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the United Kingdom. Any disputes arising from or relating to these Terms or HTFN shall be resolved exclusively in the courts of United Kingdom.
